Currently actively involved in various ongoing Clinical Trials and Research activities in Dr.Aravind’s Diabetes Centre.
Study Title : A multicentric, comparative, controlled , open label, randomized, parallel-group, phase III study to evaluate the safety and efficacy of fixed dose combination containing rosuvastatin calcium with olmesartan medoxomil versus monotherapy for hypertension in dyslipidemic patients
A Multicentric, cross-sectional, non-interventional, observational study to determine the lipid control in highrisk dyslipidemic patients treated with lipid lowering therapy in Indian population.

AUDIT PERFORMED

‘Secondary Prevention Measures in Stroke Patients’ in Royal Shrewsbury Hospital. The audit surveyed the compliance with national guidelines in order to improve patient care. Audit period-oct 2004 to dec 2004, 51 randomly selected live patients were included, with the final recommendation to update guidelines & care pathway for stroke management.
‘Medical Case Notes Audit’. Aim is to know the standard of case notes documentation by Medical and Nursing staffs. We assessed 50 case notes against an agreed standard of medical and nursing documentation.
